I work mainly in watercolor but also incorporate pen, ink or pencil at times.  My work focuses on images from nature or a still life.  I resurrected my artist’s interest in painting in 2004 and began commiserating with fellow artists to hone my skills learned while in studio art school in the 1960’s.

I participate in the Phipps Center for the Arts, What We Need is Here artists seminar workshops (2010-present).  I also create beaded and silver jewelry and am learning the art of cut paper. And I am an avid beachcomber of beach glass. Booklet “Lake Superior Beach Glass” is available

At Artista Bottega.

I have shown my work with WARM (Womens Art Resources of Minnesota).  I continue to create new images.

Regarding creating note cards from images of paintings: There is an opportunity to really scrutinize the composition and color techniques of the original works when they are reduced to a hand-held note card.  My friends and colleagues have loved receiving copies of these cards:  Early Works 2005-2011; Images of Paintings available at Artista Bottega.
